Bus Bars

From the first design consultation through dock-to-stock shipments, Mersen provides customers with innovative power distribution solutions with its laminated bus bar offering. Laminated bus bar is an engineered component consisting of layers of fabricated copper separated by thin dielectric materials, laminated into a unified structure. Laminated bus bars reduce system costs, improve reliability, increase capacitance, and eliminate wiring errors. They also lower inductance and lower impedance. Plus, the physical structure of laminated bus bars offers unique features in mechanical design. 


Semiconductor Protection Fuses and DC Overcurrent Protection Devices

Semiconductor Protection Fuses are used to protect sensitive loads against over-current conditions in power electronic equipment. Overcurrent Protective Devices (OCPD) are specifically designed to safely clear both high and low DC fault currents for today’s demanding DC systems in EV/HEV and Electrical Energy Storage applications.
